My name is David, and I'm so thrilled to be a part of your consideration for a DJ for your wedding celebration!
Remember the old movie quote "Life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you're gonna get"? The same holds true for DJ corporations, you don't know who you're gonna get and they can cost you a pretty penny. After all, you're not hiring Van Halen to play at your wedding, you're hiring a DJ.
A little background on me, I'm an independent wedding DJ and have been since 2003. Sure, I've had assistants, but I've always flown solo. I do my own marketing, social media posts, lead responses and bridal show appearances. I designed my own planning form so brides never have to worry about ANY detail of her wedding. I work great alone, and you get that personable touch, a one-on-one connection where I know your wedding back and forth without the guesswork or "winging it". And most importantly, I will be the one at your wedding!
I don't talk all over the music, and don't rely on all the flash and glitz that others may depend on. I mean, anyone can push a play button and anyone can plug in a light. It's what you do with the music that counts, knowing what song compliments another, and when to shift gears from a slow song to a danceable one. So take a look around, read some reviews, schedule a time to chat or just drop me a line. I would love to talk to you about your wedding and how I can put a spin on it.
THIS is where the Majic happens.

After more than 21 years in the wedding business, I decided it was time to write a book about my experiences. I wrote "The diary of a DJ" primarily to help brides avoid so many common mistakes, most notably when searching for, interviewing, and hiring DJs. I interviewed some of my past brides and asked them what they stressed over yet wished now they hadn't, and also asked for some of my favorite vendors for their best advice for brides in their area of expertise. I also go through every single event in a typical wedding, how to pick songs, how to organize the itinerary; what, when and how to ask your DJ to make their dreams a reality.
Most brides go in blind and lost, not knowing what to do or where to go, and most vendors, more importantly DJs, won't give you this kind of valuable insight without a contract first. But now, you'll learn as much as I have and know what's it like from a DJs perspective. I hope you will give my book a try, it will greatly minimize and reduce the stress, anxiety and aggravation that comes with planning a dream wedding!
